Here's What's Happening
Letter of Intent
Fineline Aviation signed letters of intent for sites 6 & 7. Started pre-construction and due diligence processes with the design team.
Design Begins
Engaged design team to start construction plans for project, and working closely with the city on all details. Wait list has increased daily to roughly 80+ members. Working. Survey is starting for civil design.
Site Survey
Complete Site Survey. Civil Design underway. Architect/MEP’s underway.
Submit Plans
Submit Civil Design to TCEQ, Submit for SDP at GT Planning. Submit to FAA OE/AAA
Government Approvals & Permits
Government review and approval of plans and issuing of permits.
Break Ground
Break Ground on Phase 1 Construction.
Docs & Approvals
- SDP Permit Approval Expected by End of June
- City Ground Lease Draft lease is in process from the City of GT
- TCEQ Approval expected by End of June
- FAA Approval expected by End of June
- City of GT approved Condo Regime’s at the Airport June 9th.
- Building plans will be submitted by end of June.

When will hangars be available?
How many Hangars will be built in Phase 1?
What is pricing going to be for purchasing?
This info will be available end of Q2 2025
What is included in each hangar?
Each hangar will be equipped with:
- Dedicated, hydraulically operated main door
- Interior LED overhead high bay lighting
- Exterior LED wall pack lighting
- One (1) to Two (2) Dedicated power circuit with multiple outlets
- Larger Hangars (75’ x 60’ and up) will have small sub-panel 30-50amp to be determined
What does the purchase of a hangar consist of?
This is the sale of the hangar construction.
What kind of deposit do you need?
Purchase Deposits will $2500 down to hold hangar under LOI then 10% will be required just before construction starts.
The Airport only has a 50 Year Ground Lease?
How does the land lease work?
There will be quarterly dues sent out for land lease and common area costs just like an POA.
Who will hold the primary Lease for the 40+ acres?
Georgetown Executive Hangars, LP will hold the lease with GTU and maintain the POA. This will consist of board members selected when construction is completed.
Will there be a pilot lounge and restrooms?
Yes, there will be a small space with restrooms, a lounge, etc, for Hangar Tenants.
How many people are on the list?
Currently, there are over 120 since Feb 20th 2025.
When will I be notified if I get a hangar in Phase 1?
We will contact those that made Phase 1. This will be done on a 1st come 1st Serve basis.
